Dead Streams |
I have been having a problem lately with a few of the Dead streams, is it possible that it is due to traffic on the site? About every 5-10 seconds the stream will cut out, almost as if I were using dial-up and it is buffering. This makes some really great music really unenjoyable, so if anyone has a response that would be great. Do I just need to find a show that is not in the recently reviewed or most downloaded sections so as to avoid this problem? Let me know, thanks ~MIKE

Re: Dead Streams |
I stream via a wireless router in my home. I have problems when my connection is shared with another computer. So, I'll be streaming music and when my wife retrieves her email, my stream is interrupted.

Re: Dead Streams |
others have reported stream buffering issues recently, so you're not alone. Hopefully we get to the bottom of the matter!
it could just be insane popularity is making the capped bandwidth (which is already very highly used) stretch even thinner, making the streams have buffer problems.
Is the problem less-bad when you use the 'lo-fi' stream? Or is it bad / interuptions occur the same amount lo vs hi fi?

Re: Dead Streams |
was just streaming Grapefruit Ed and had no problems at all. Streamed beautifully (at hi fi). Could it be problems with different servers?? had a problem a couple of weeks ago, but seems fine now.
